MapKeep Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 June 2026

This policy describes how the MapKeep app ("MapKeep") handles your information. It supplements the GNM Apps Privacy Policy; where the two differ for MapKeep, this page governs.

The short version

MapKeep is private by default. The places, labels, lists, and notes you save are yours — there is no social feed, and we don't sell your data or use it to target advertising.

Information MapKeep handles

  • Your saved places & notes. The pins, labels, lists, and notes you create are stored to make the app work for you.
  • Location. MapKeep uses location only to show your position on the map and to help you drop and find pins. You can control location access in your device settings.
  • Diagnostics. We may receive limited, aggregated crash and performance data to keep the app stable.

How your information is used

Solely to provide MapKeep's features — saving and organizing places — and to fix problems. We do not sell your personal data or use your saved places for advertising.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. Limited information may be processed by service providers (for example, map and crash-reporting services) only as needed to operate the app.

Your choices

You can manage location permissions in your device settings and delete saved places within the app. To request access to or deletion of your data, email support@gnmapps.com.
